Playing Card Size
Our Photo Playing Cards are 2.5" wide by 3.5" tall. However, the image size used to create the cards is 2.75" wide by 3.75" tall. This is due to the 1/8" outer bleed all around the card so that we can print fully edge to edge, or full bleed.
When submitting your image for printing on our Photo Playing Cards, your image will be stretched to fit the entire card. If the aspect ratio of your image is different than the card, some of your image will not be printed. Additionally, the area of your image in the 1/8" outer bleed will not be printed.
In the example below, the outer yellow area is the 1/8" outer bleed that does not get printed. The inner shaded area is the printable area.
The text area has an inner bleed of 3/16" in the printable area for aesthetics and so that the text is never too close to the edge to get cut off. The size of the text will be customized based on the number of characters submitted (30 characters max - 15 per line x 2 lines)
Image Size & Resolution
Please do not submit images from the internet, or screenshots from a cellphone, as they are very low resolution and will be pixelated and blurred when printed. For best results, your image size should be no smaller than 2.75" x 3.75" @ 300dpi (825 pixels by 1125 pixels) - the file size should be at least 2MB's.
